Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a nice meal with the people they love and enjoy every minute of it. There is so much to be thankful for, but sometimes we worry more about the things that are wrong than the things that are right. That's why this holiday is my favorite. It reminds us of all that we have.

So the lovely areica tagged me to do this ages ago and I'm finally going to do it! (No, I'm not avoiding sleep. Psh.)

5 Things about Me That I Hope Will Not Be Overly Boring (If it's stuff that you already know about me, then you know me too well, so stop complaining. XD):

1) I've wanted to be a surgeon since I was three. It has always been my number one choice. It never wavers, and pretty much all my long-term goals tie into it. My 2nd and 3rd and so on places have changed a lot, though. From firefighter, to astronaut, to marine biologist, to hair stylist, etc. My college major is probably going to be biomedical engineering.

2) I've been accepted into some of the top private high schools (Philips Exeter/Andover, Deerfield, etc.) in the country. I've also been accepted into a program for a year abroad in Spain. They only reason I'm not in one of these programs is because the financial aid didn't fall in line. Maybe it's for the best. I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities in college. It's only two-ish years away.

3) I don't seem shy, but I'm actually fairly shy. It depends. XD

4) I love languages and dialects. I'm learning Spanish right now. (Funny story, I was reading one of my favorite stories in Spanish the other night. For some reason, the funny parts are even funnier in Spanish than they were in English. XD) I want to either do a second major focused on the Spanish language or something of the sort as a backup. Also, when I am a doctor, I want to join Doctors without Borders, focusing mainly on Central and South America.

5) I love to travel. I've been to Japan, Las Vegas, and Niagara Falls. I want to travel the world someday. Also, I'd love to live a few years in a Spanish-speaking country. That would be fun.

Ayah's Questions that she felt the need to ask:

1. Any pets?
Lots. I have three dogs and six cats. And some fish. And snails. If you are wondering about the snails, ask my dad.

2. TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE AFRAID OF. *snickers*
I'm afraid of losing people I care about and them not knowing what they meant to me. And bees. I'm not fond of bees.

3. Favorite mythical creature?
DRAGONS.

4. You've just been turned into a My Little Pony, whether you like it or not. What's your name, and what's your cutie mark? (the tattoo on your butt)
Foo Foo Cuddly Poops is the name. Don't wear it out. And my cutie mark is an open book with a stethoscope around it.

5. You're stuck on an island. Pick 3 people to be stuck with, and their jobs to help everyone survive.
Kierk, Ayah, and one other person. Kierk to play music for us so we don't die of boredom. Ayah to make us laugh. And then another mystery person. What's life without some mystery?

6. If you were one of the Eeveelutions (Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon) which one would you be and why? If you don't know them, look them up and choose by images!
Eevee, duh. Because I've always loved Eevee. How could you not? (And no, I didn't have to look it up!)

7. Favorite food?
Stuffed Peppers. Or lobster.

8. Favorite time of day?
Probably evening or late afternoon.

9. If you could have one thing in this universe, what would it be?
A full scholarship to College and Med school.

Fine. Toffee chips and almonds? Because that's really all I have stashed away at the moment because I ate the peanut butter cups. Oh, and I have York peppermint patties.

11. What's your idea of a perfect date? *snickers again*
My idea of the perfect date would be something quiet with the two of us together. I don't just mean hang around with nothing planned. But something like watching a funny movie together or playing chess and getting to know each other without worrying about other people watching or whatever. I told you, I can be very shy, so building trust is a good thing.

So, some of you know how I've been sick this summer. Well I've been mostly recovered for the last few weeks, but I still get so tired sometimes... It's frustrating because every time I try to get work done, I get tired.

Anyways, moving on from that. I'm getting my hair cut for school next week! I can post a before and after if you guys want.

Also, only a few of you know that because I was very sick at the begining of summer, I didn't know about a summer homework assignment that I was suppose to do. I've known about it for a week. I've been working on it every day, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere with it because I'm so tired every time I try to do it. Especially the last couple of days. Today has been better, though.

Aside from having to finish a huge amount of chemistry before school starts, I'm excited to be going back! Not looking forward to waking up early or doing boring repetative homework assignments, but I still am excited.

Hey guys. Quick update so that I can avoid finishing edits on my War essay.

I had my first Horse Show yesterday. It was so much fun. XD Since I have only been riding for like two months, and I was up against people that had been riding for years, I got last place, but I still had fun. My whole family got a good laugh out of it, then we went to Applebee's. Yum.

I forget what I was going to write next because I got distracted and I'm tired. So G'night!
